About Us and Our Goal
In the 2023 wrestling season the Dragon Wrestling Club won their 2nd straight Indiana State Elementary Wrestling Championship.
To make this incredible feat happen, financial assistance was needed to support this very talented and young team. This meant fundraising was required to help pay for tournament fees, travel expenses and assistance to those with financial restraints.
Our Goal
We discovered during our fundraising campaign that many small businesses within New Palestine were inundated with constant requests for financial assistance. In some cases there were so many requests that many companies just couldn’t help due to limited budgets.
We wanted to comprise a way to help our club and at the same time take some pressure off the small businesses in our community.
Our goal was to give individuals a way to show their American Pride and the opportunity to assist our athletes to reach higher goals without the financial burden falling on small businesses within the community.
The Avenue of Flags intiative will help raise much needed support for our teams. We feel this program has additional benefits as well. The youth that volunter their time to help raise support will also learn the importance of what the American Flag stands for while working. We also believe these children will strenghten their work ethic by helping other athletes within our community . Our young athletes will come away with an appreciation of the many sacrifices that have been made by so many in our great country.
